National "Of the Year" Awards Presented by Spalding

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) Division has announced the recipients for its 1999 national awards, which were presented by Spalding:

Amy Fox of Fort Worth (TX) chosen as Teacher of the Year
Sandra Eriksson of Delray Beach (FL) chosen as Professional of the Year
Kathleen Teichert of Ann Arbor (MI) chosen as Coach of the Year.

The LPGA's T&CP Division's Executive Committee selects the national award winners from the pool of award honorees nominated by the members of the LPGA T&CP Division's five regional sections.

The LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division, founded in 1959, has enjoyed an unprecedented rate of growth in recent years and boast the largest membership or women golf professionals in the country. With more than 1,100 members, the LPGA T&CP Division is dedicated to the advancement of golf through teaching, managing golf facilities and coaching rising stars. The LPGA T&CP Division also administers the LPGA's various grassroots programs that are vital to the continued growth of the game of golf.
