Cathe Ransavage believes the requirements for the contemporary golf professional’s success demands the highest quality of ability and dedication. Exceptional performance of responsibilities coupled with integrity, honesty and sincere affection for the game of golf is paramount for a continued growth and self-satisfaction that only teaching the game of golf can provide. She teaches the traditional golf swing "by feel" with great results.

This philosophy is evident in Cathe’s current and previous experience. Starting at The Dunes Club in the fall of 1983, she spent the summer of 1988 as a teaching professional at the Golf Club Bad Salzedetfurth in Hildesheim, Germany, before returning to the Dunes Club as an assistant golf professional and achieving membership in the PGA. From 1990 to 1995, Cathe served as the Head Golf Professional at the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club. Then in 1996 added to her personal objectives by becoming a staff and teaching professional at the Kirtland Country Club in Willoughby, OH as well as The Dunes Golf Club in Florida.

Cathe is a player as well as an exceptional instructor. From 1973 through 1979 she was a medallist and champion of many local and regional golf tournaments. In 1978-79 she was a qualifier in the Women’s Trans-National, in 1979 qualifies in the Women’s Southern Amateur, City Champion of the 1978 New Orleans Women’s Golf Association, winner of the Championship Consolation of the 1979 Louisiana Women’s Amateur and Medallist of the 1983 Louisiana Women’s Amateur.

Continuing to improve her knowledge of golf, Cathe attended PGA Business School II in 1990, PGA Advanced Professional Training School in 1993, USGA Women’s Affairs Seminar in 1996, PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit in New Orleans in 1996, and two USGA Rules Workshops in 1998 and 2000.
