Melanie VanDelden brings a wealth of
playing and teaching experience to the golfing public. Following her collegiate experience at the
University of Washington, she won the Washington State Pub-Links Championships, and
then competed on the FUTURES Tour (formative tour for the LPGA). Melanie became a member of the LPGA in
1987 and the PGA in 1998.
Formerly at Fore Lakes GC and River Oaks GC, with over 15 years teaching experience,
Melanie is one of the top teaching professionals in Utah. She won the 1999 Utah Section
PGA “Teacher of the Year” Award and most recently was listed as one of GOLF Magazine’s
“Top Outstanding Teachers” for 2000.
