As an instructor, David Wiseman has over twenty years teaching experience. A former head golf professional of courses located in Anchorage (AK) and Vacaville, Mountain. View and Napa (CA), David has been a PGA member since 1988. He is an extremely skilled instructor, working with Barry Logar a former contestant in the U.S. Amateur, as well as Javier Sanchez who qualified for the U.S. Open Championship. He has recently relocated from Illinois, where he was Director of Instruction at Fox Run Golf Learning Center.
A 1982 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro (GA) with a degree in Education, he continues to excel by attending the PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit on two separate occasions, and plans to begin work this summer on the new PGA Specialized Certification for Teaching program. David's goal is to become a Master Professional.
As a player, David competed in the Florida ranking school for the Hooters Tour, and has recorded a score of 59 on two separate occasions. He will be playing in events in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Kentucky and Indiana.
An excellent merchandiser, and certified Hogan and Henry-Griffitts clubfitter, he has also had extensive experience in teaching Junior golf. Currently, along with his partner Liz Waters, David is developing a program to take junior golf to Croatia and other European countries. They will seek to offer instruction as well as get equipment into the hands of junior golfers and others who would otherwise not come into contact with the game.
