"Practice vs. Hitting Balls"

Do you always walk off the driving range feeling like you've made some progress? If not, you probably just hit balls. What is the difference between practicing and hitting balls? Goals. A true practice session should be quantifiable. You must set some goals and accomplish them. The goals can be simple pre-swing actions such as practicing alignment or they can be more complex in-swing actions like swinging the club on plane.  Whatever your goals are make sure when you walk off the range you can say to yourself, "I accomplished something today".

Remember practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent!
