Former European Tour Player and PGA Chapter Champion, Peter Anderson, a part time golf writer of some renown, has owned, and directed golf schools since 1983. His Myrtle Beach Golf School has been operating continuously since it's inception in late 1984. He has also overseen operations at golf schools in Lake Placid NY, Cape Cod MA, Colonial Virginia, and Upper Michigan, but for the last couple of years has concentrated his efforts solely to the Myrtle Beach Golf School facility, as well as, a book in progress which will be titled "Golf Logic". Peter often conducts golf instruction himself, and is invariably on site at each golf school helping his golf instruction staff out with group presentations, and individual students out with their specific golf swing problems.

Like many of today's most successful, and best known golf instructors, his educational background is in engineering, and it often shows through in his creative and thorough explanations of those principals most often misunderstood by amateur golfers. Presentations are incorporated within the framework of traditional group instruction, and utilized by every member of the outstanding golf schools staff of PGA professionals. Selected drills and training aids are also used to insure that golf school students feel the desired golf swing.

Since the creation of his "Individual Improvement Method" in 1983, his golf instruction methods have become the basic benchmark behind the teaching philosophies of golf schools worldwide. A truly exceptional staff of teaching professionals are experienced, versatile, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. Each has been a PGA professional for years, and additionally has been certified in our "Individual Improvement Method".

Peter also created/designed a "progressive instructional" system, primarily intended to make golf professionals better teachers of the game. In addition to his schools own professionals, for whom he originally designed this system, there is sufficient outside requests, that he now reserves four weeks each year for the express purpose of teaching other golf professionals, who, in striving to become exceptional, make up some of the finest teachers in the game today.
