Chuck Beazley, PGA Golf Professional
Golf House Tennessee - Franklin, Tennessee

Starting his career at Andrews AFB, MD in 1988, Chuck Beazley has been a golf pro ever since.  His apprenticeship there provided him the opportunity to play golf with two Presidents, namely George Bush and Gerald Ford, former Secretary of State James Baker, military advisors and numerous high ranking officers.  Chuck's fondest memories are playing golf on Sundays with President Reagan's pilot, Robert (just call me Bob) Ruddick, and the crew of Air Force One.

He has also served at two semi-private facilities, a public and private member course, and was the Director of Golf Instruction for the Guaranteed Improvement Method Golf School in Fredericksburg, VA.  This school promoted instruction to each student by inducing minor changes in their existing swing.  These four day schools provided five hours of daily instruction, including on course coaching, a video before and after, but mainly guaranteed improvement.

Currently Chuck is the Head Golf Professional at Golf House Tennessee.  In 1997, the TPGA Junior Academy was voted the best junior golf program in the country by Golf Digest.  Chuck helps organize the staff and clinics for the 27 year-old TPGA Junior Golf Academy, which graduates 550 juniors each season.  The students must be eleven or older, camps last one week, and start the first week in June through the last week in August.  The students stay at Golf House all week and receive in depth training in all aspects of the game.  If a student is financially unable to attend, the PGA Section has a limited number of scholarships available.  The TPGA Junior Golf Academy has moved many students into the college ranks at a variety of division one schools.  In 1999, Chuck won dual awards, being chosen as the Middle Tennessee Chapter PGA Junior Golf Leader and the Tennessee Section PGA Junior Golf Leader.

Last year Chuck became involved in the Tennessee Special Olympics.  "It has been a love affair ever since," says Chuck. "Truly the most rewarding aspect of my teaching career thus far."  Last year the clinics were held statewide and Golf House hosted the first ever Special Olympics golf camp.  Patterned after the TPGA Junior Golf Academy, it was a huge success and will be returning this year.

Golf House is very much involved with The First Tee program, which is a joint effort by the PGA, LPGA, USGA, Tiger Woods Foundation and several other organizations to create sites and opportunities for Junior golfers to learn the game in a unified and organized manner.

Chuck is currently enrolled in the PGA Specialty Certification Program for teaching, and specializes in junior golf and beginners, but teaches all ages, genders and ability levels.  He runs numerous clinics and Golf House is the home of the Tennessee Short Game Academy.  In addition, Golf House is the home of the Vince Gill Junior Tour, which provides juniors from all walks of life the chance to compete in numerous tournaments.  Each participant must attend a rules/etiquette seminar to be eligible.   Currently there are 1400 juniors statewide enrolled in the tour.

Chuck is currently working with two members of the Blind Golfers Association, David Meaders and Jim Baker, to produce a video.
