Rob Clark has been in the golf industry for over ten years. He owned his own teaching facility in Baton Rouge, was an assistant at the Baton Rouge Country Club, the Country Club of Birmingham, and was the Head Professional at the Country Club of Louisiana from 1993 to 1995.

Rob co-developed the Release Right golf training aid, which is endorsed by Dr. Jim Suttie, one of the 1998 "Top 100" teachers as recognized by Golf Digest.  This aid is designed to keep you in all the right positions throughout the golf swing.  Rob has written many articles on teaching for Tee to Green , a monthly news magazine distributed in the Southeast United States, and is currently completing his book entitled "Is It Really That Simple."  This book will give all golfers the insight of how simple this game can be and how hard they try to make it.

As an online instructor on the Internet for AOL and PGA, Rob has also worked on the USA Today golf teaching hotline.  He has spoken for large audiences at the Illinois Golf Show and Swing Dynamics on his philosophy of teaching as it relates to ball flight rather than mechanics.  He believes that all golfers have certain mechanics in their swing which are unique.  "You can't force the same method on all people without learning their limitations and physical build."

Rob graduated from Louisiana State University in 1988 with a degree in Business. A PGA Class A member since 1991, Rob is currently the Dunham School Golf Coach for the boys and girls teams in Baton Rouge.  He is a recognized custom club fitter for Ping and Titleist, and also houses the most advanced club repair shop in a two state area (Louisiana and Mississippi).  Many of his clients come from as far away as Texas.
