Where there is a need for a PGA Golf Professional, you will find Mark Elmore with a record of success in management, teaching, tournament and golf shop operations. Since 1997, Mark has been the head golf professional at the 250 member Terry Walker Country Club. Here he manages the staff, conducts all member programs, organizes and conducts outside tournament outings, and owns and operates the golf shop.

Mark was a golf professional from 1988 to 1996 at the 650 member Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club located on the Tennessee River in Killen (AL), and for five years prior at the 1200 member Vestavia Country Club, one of the largest in Birmingham (AL).

A Class A member of the PGA since 1990, Mark served as the Apprentice Chairman for the Dixie Section PGA from 1993 to 1998. He has successfully completed all business school requirements, and maintains his current classification through the Professional Development Program.

In 1989, Mark received his bachelors degree as an authorized instructor on the Golf Machine (GSEB), and in 1994 earned his Masters degree, an achievement accomplished by only 100 others  worldwide. He is one of 4 golf teachers to teach at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center Sports Expo, and is an instructor of the Minority Golf Clinic for C.I.T.Y. Program.
