(Doctor of Golf Stroke Engineering)
Family Golf Park, Blue Springs, Missouri
With over twenty years experience, Chuck Evans has taught in excess of 75,000 private lessons. In addition to his private lesson program, Chuck conducts a players school for those who have aspirations of playing on Tour, or for those wanting to improve their teaching techniques looking to change careers by moving into golf instruction. His course is approved by the PGA of America offering teaching credits.
Growing up in Kansas City, Chuck played on championship teams in football, baseball, basketball and track. Eventually he found golf which would become his passion. He turned professional in 1970, and played on the PGA TOUR for two years. He has continued to compete but mainly on a sectional basis. Retaking the Players Ability test, he was the only player in the filed to finish under par. Recently he attended "Q" school for the Senior Tour and was one of only fifty players to earn a fully exempt status for the year. He also made the cut in his first tournament and cashed.
He has now turned his attention to teaching the game. Chuck has taught at The Legacy Golf Club in Henderson (NV), Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora (OR), Players Edge Golf School in Scottsdale (AZ), Bill Skelley School of Golf in Destin (FL), The Golf Boot Camp in Seattle (WA), and Atlanta Golf Center in Atlanta (GA). Currently he is an assistant teaching professional. His focus in not only on swing mechanics but also the physical and mental preparation it takes to be successful. It is based on science, not theory and therefore is irrefutable. Communication skills are a must, and you will be trained in the science of the golf stroke.
