Warren Lehr started his career at  Shady Oaks Country Club in Ft. Worth (TX), the home course of the legendary Ben Hogan, He has also worked at La Quinta Hotel Golf Club and Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville (OK), Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso (OK), and Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

Beyond high school and college tournaments, he has qualified and played in the California and Oklahoma State Opens, and Wichita and Texarkana Nike Tour Events, along with PGA Sectional Events in Texas, California, Oklahoma and New Mexico. A PGA member since 1988, Warren finished in the top 5% of his class in both the PGA Business Schools he attended. In addition he scored in the top 10% of his class at three PGA/USGA rules workshops.

His teaching experience has included personal interaction and discussions with Bill Strausbaugh, Ernie Vossler, Dr. Bob Rotella, Johnny Pott, Ben Hogan, Manuel de la Torre, Lee Trevino, Frank Beard, David Leadbetter, Dave Stockton, D.A. Weibring and many other fine teachers and players. He has studied the classic books on golf instruction by Armour, Hogan, Snead, Venturi, Nicklaus, Toski, Flick, Jacobs, Ballard, Wiren, Knudson, Watson, Pelz and others. 

Warren is a certified Titleist, Cobra, Hogan and Ping clubfitter. He has attended PGA teaching workshops and seminars and also the PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit in New Orleans. He instructed at a PGA teaching seminar, a PGA national junior academy, two Nike junior camps and a FCA junior camp.

"I encourage a relaxed swinging motion," says Warren, "which is best detailed in the great Canadian golf professional George Knudson's book, The Natural Golf Swing, not to be confused with the Moe Norman method with the same name."

Warren graduated from Norman High School in Norman, OK and from Cameron University in Lawton, OK, where he majored in communications and minored in psychology.
