Linda Mandros, LPGA Golf Professional
Ormond Beach, Florida

A native of Canada, Linda Mandros was chosen as one of the 50 Top Teachers by GOLF FOR WOMEN magazine in February 2001.

With over eighteen years experience, starting as golf operations manager at Orleans Golf Club in Orleans (VT), Linda has been involved in all phases of golf operations. She spent six years teaching with renowned PGA Master Professional, Craig Shankland at Ocean Palm Golf Course in Flagler Beach (FL), and two years as head professional and director of instruction with Rick Smith, "Top 100" professional at Treetops Sylvan Resort in Gaylord (MI). She was instrumental in developing and initiating the very successful Treetops Golf School and Weetops Junior Golf Academy.

Linda's dedication to golf is exemplified by her speaking and instructing at PGA educational seminars, the LPGA National Summit, and other special events. She has presented weekly informative and entertaining golf exhibitions, and written over 100 articles for the News Journal in Daytona Beach. In addition, she was a Southeast Section Member Advisor and Evaluator for the LPGA. 

Having attended Champlain College in Quebec, majoring in Business Administration, Linda continues to expand her knowledge by participating in many PGA golf management and quality management seminars, coaching and teambuilding workshops, and junior golf seminars.  She has attended LPGA teaching schools, club fitting workshops, leadership and women in golf summits.

As a player, Linda played the Florida Mini-Tour from 1988-1990. She won the 1989 & 1991 Daytona Beach Mixed Team Classic and the 1991 PGA East Central Chapter Championship, and placed in the top 15 at the 1991 LPGA National T&CP Championship. She was the first PGA female professional to qualify for the PGA Match Play Championship in 1994, making it to the semi-final round before being defeated.

Linda teaches private lessons, as well as conducting clinics, schools, corporate events, and community service programs at LPGA International. She directs the programs for two local colleges, the YMCA and several local recreation departments.
