Currently, Scott is the Director of Instruction at Nonesuch. He gives private, group and clinic formatted lessons to all age levels and abilities.

He also runs the Mayer's School of Golf, which consists of one and two day, 6 hour long all inclusive instructional packages. He owns the Portland Golf Expo and has his own instructional web site at MayersSchoolofGolf.com.

Scott has been a multi-nominee and 2004 wsinner of the State of Maine teacher of the year. He is the 2007 Ferris State University Professional Golf Managements Bill Strausbaugh Teacher of the Year award winner. Scott is currently the nominee for the New England Teacher of the Year.
